Well I would think that the fix of crabwalking would make through balls harder because....

--Defenders are usually the ones who get to the ball first. The outcome was 3 things..

-They control the ball/time the pass and the ball is safe.

-They mess up the control/timing and the striker has 1v1, but depending on the bounce of the ball he might encounter crab walking aswell, but will most likely still go through 1v1, depending on the position of other defenders, as a defender who fails trips and has a fit.

-They crab walk before they get to the ball, and get overtaken by the striker who goes through on goal.



So I think really that whilst crabwalking can effect strikers, it is usually the defender who gets the worst out of it, so its a good patch!
