(Klass-Jan Huntelaar celebrates his hat-trick)
It toke under 10 minutes for the first goal to come, but it was to Sydney. SYdney were attacking and attacking and in the 9th minute they won a corner, it was well swang in and Ajax couldn't clear and John Aloisi volleyed it in. But this put SYdney on the back foot as Ajax woke up and Huntelaar ran up field and nearly scored. Ajax kept control of the match but it toke to the 40th minute till there next chance, as Huntelaar got a nice through ball on goal, he toke a shoot and it went wide but the linesman had his flag up for offside anyway. The board went up with 3 minutes of extra time and no-one saw Klass-Jan Huntelaar break, he slowed down in the box and blasted it home. The ref blew for half time at 1-1.
The teams came back out and started playing a back and fourth game, but Ajax toke control in the 65th minute when they scored. A Sydney midfielder was making a back-pass to a defender but he didn't see Arshavin, he got around the defenders and smashed it past the keeper to make it 2-1. What Ajax and Sydney didn't know was that was the start of a destroying of Sydney. 5 minutes after Arshavin's goal Ajax won a corner and Aissati volleyed it home then 12 minutes late Huntelaar toke a shot saved by Bolton but Shannon Cole tackled Arshavin who was in the box, pentaly to Ajax whole Cole saw yellow. Huntelaar stepped up to take the pentaly and he sent the keeper the wrong way smashing it into the top right hand corner. Just 2 minutes later Arshavin broke down the wing, he crossed it in and Huntelaar headed into the bottom right hand corner out of reach for the keeper for hsi hat-trick. Ajax held out to the final whistle to smash Sydney FC.
