Exactly. The best from of defence when you are caught is not to chase the player down, but take a quicker line into the space he is heading for.
In most cases, once the Attacker is goal side, jockeying is not necessarily the best option. try to get back infront, for example: If the attcajer is running down the wing, don't waste time chasing him out there, take a diagonal line back towards goal and intot the space he will be heading for.
