There is no lag with it trust me. Although I've been quite negative with FIFA 09 there's definetly no lag such in online unless your opponent uses dial up!
And yes teres more defending defenders anligned in such a way that the long balls are very difficult to exploit! I meant thanks God Corner bug is fixed! That was the 2nd biggest problem after the quitters in 08 thats apparently resolved if you try to hit the crossbar the ball will fly wide or hit the roof of the net it really isn't possible. although I myself useto exploit it in 08
