I personally think this petition is to just fetch attention to
PR as its failing to move forward and gain new players. Not
entirely PR's fault but mainly because the game is so broken in many ways, people have lost faith in it and no longer play it.
You need to understand that BF2 is old now and since its release they have brought out a few patches and in fairness to try and fix it but its not worked. I cant see anymore coming after the next one so it doesn't matter if you start a petition or not as it wont be acted upon.
I'm guessing that the new patch will also make things worse in the game. 114/128 players would be good but how many truly honest players play this game now, im guessing not many because anyone who gets a lucky round of kills gets accused of cheating in someway and thats not always the case. I, amongs other would be disappointed if EA/DICE allowed even more cheaters on a server.
..saying that though if ALL the servers were ran by trusted admins and clans then things would be different but considering the majority are hacked to death then it will never change.
Even a new map wont save the game now...not like there is a new map or anything, just that if there was it wouldnt change the game.
