I'll elaborate for this. Infantry only works as a gamemode only in certain maps. The more city orientated maps such as Strike at Karkand or Mashtuur City tend to favour this gamemode. Larger maps such as Operation Clean Sweep or Dragon Valley (especially in 32 or 64 modes) are far too big to have infantry only games in hence why some people want some light vehicles so that they can get into the fight faster instead of making a long trek from flag to flag.
Personally I don't see it working as it would just encourage players to rush to the back flag and turns the round into a boring leapfrog gamemode.
