After 3 years of this game, I suspect that anyone who expects the next patch to do much is either deluded, or the eternal optimist. Take your pick?
DICE's coders have proved themselves unable to deliver a game that halalalala detection and weapons balance that does anything more than insult our intelligence so far and I can't see 1.5 changing much. The hit detection is bound to still suck, weapon accuracy will still suck and the balance is still going to be a joke. Given the previous patches, they will probably find something in the game that is OK at the moment and stuff it up. I don't doubt though that they will hail closing all the holes in their coding that have let the hackers run riot as a major achievement?
At least it still looks pretty after 3 years. Thumbs up to the folks behind the graphics. The only folks at DICE worth the sweat off my dogs balls.
