The funny thing about 3d grass is that it does not look realistic at all. Certainly an improvement from fifa 08 pc but if you compare the 3d grass to the next gen 09 demo, you will notice there is a day and night difference. I couldn't believe all the hype given about the 3d grass by ea yet it looks rubbish compared to the next gen graphics engine.

It would be good if pes 2009 has a huge improvement in graphics. It will give good competition. They are already running the next gen ai on the pc since 2008 I think.

Its funny how ea think that the next gen version is better than pes by saying the processor power needed for it is too great for pcs but can run on low end consoles cpus. So thats like saying I can run it on lalalala but not on good hardware. PES 2008 developers however put the full next gen version on pc, not only because it saves cost of developing as one ai over more platforms is better and same for the graphics engine. Anyway everyone knows that PES 2008 runs a lot better on PC than say a PS3, I own the game on both and can say the ps3 runs jittery at 1280*720 with serious lag as it can't handle the game engine/ graphics engine while my pc runs it on 1280*800 @60fps and also at 1680*1050 @ 60fps with better graphics and more fluid gameplay, not broken up like on the ps3. Either the Fifa PC team haven't got a clue about the fact pcs processors are faster or they still are using 1.6ghz p4s and celerons for game development which are just slightly slower than the consoles processors. The PS3 cell has only 1 dedicated core while my quad core has 4 dedicated cores. I reckon one of my cores is greater than the complete cell processor with all its spes in use.
