I'm sure that my comments will result in lalala fingers in ears, as EA skip down the list to read the "Sensible comments", and pretend the things they don't like didn't happen/weren't said. I didn't install Spore, I bought the disks from amazon, and was looking forward to playing it until I read about 3 Activation limit and the Securom Virus/Rootkit/Trojan Horse. Which Spore Covertly installs. A Product which tampers with settings and hardware configurations, bypasses firewalling, and carries out privalege escalation attacks. (SecuROM - Wikipedia)

Not only this, but Securom also installs elements that hijack a computer at Kernel level.

This is what I don't like about spore, and the reason I will be returning the product unplayed, a pity, but I'll live.
