Not a major accomplishment when you're using the same basic engine for all the games you made that could (minus the lighting) have been on last gen systems. It has low poly objects, odd physics, and ugly soldier models. Also, it runs at 600P (1067x600), I don't even run tetris at that any more! So, in the end it i damn easy to make a bug free game when you've worked on the game without a new engine or adding anything inivative. With all that said the CoD4 team presented and nearly perfect package and experience for me in the singleplayer, but comparing its performce to BFBC is like comparing an Apple to a Papaya.

you do know it makes a noise when it drops, and also there is little reason to stand on top of a dead enemy which increase danger of of it and less you play cod4 worse you will do when you do play it.

COD4 has such small quarters and fast action and I often find myself near an enemy player I killed or was killed. Stupidiest thing added to a online Multiplayer game ever!
I played Far Cry 2 on the PS3 in Leipzig and wasn't impressed, it is no better, worse, or different than anything else out besides going to Africa. I think I'd like it much better on the PC as the controls felt real bad IMO.
CoD5 will not really impact BFBC or CoD4, it will take CoD6 to break CoD4 of its massive amount of players. Slow weapons of WWII just don't appeal to people like the weapon of current times do. CoD5 will ride the sales wave of CoD4 fans and be put on the shelf quickly, but this is all my own personal speculation.
For the news update I guess we have to wait and see, I for one just want the lag fixed, everything else woul be frosting on the cake, but not needed.
