Hello, as a lot of you allready stated... the space stage was the thing I was looking forward to it the most. But once I got up there with my "Mornak" species all went wrong after 30 min of play. 1st of all I'm playing on easy as this was my first time
. I found it hard to get money in (trade routes... they dont bring in revenue as far as i know... or at least not enough). I found some artifacts and started to sell them but this didn't give much revenue aswell. So then I started doing some heavy missioning... But after some time 3 out of 6 species became warlike to me (Probably also to my warfare past... all stages were conquered by me "removing" rival species, tribes, cities). So they attacked with alot of ships whilst i only had "3" myself (my space ship + 2 allies). My outer 2 colonies were constantly under attack, and I started to loose "time" to get my "allies" replenishing me with new ships. I also had the idea of them getting stronger and stronger... so I thought well lets get some more allies, artifacts etc but my nearby solar systems were allready all visited by me so no more artifacts to sell. My allies got attacked, my homeworld became attacked etc etc. In the end all I did was playing parent with my only spaceship jumping from my colonies to my homeworld back and forth... without beeing able to explore, colonize and terraform the way I wanted. And erm my god it takes long to take over a colony of them...
Ok here my short wishlist
- While you attack an enemies colony --> Pause the outer game so at least you can conquer a colony without fear of loosing 2 others
- Be able to command an AI-controlled invasion-force to attack an enemy colony
- Give more money or make space ship tools more cheap
- Less micomanaging of colonies as the universe is way to big... (maybe copy your "city layout" and when you start a new colony it automatically built that layout.
For the rest however the games kicks *** and I mean it!
