You're most likely completely right. Like I said earlier, I do this stuff for a living, so I know exactly how difficult it can be to track down a problem like this.
I'm just frustrated as hell, that's all. And lack of communication only makes it worse. I'd rather have them say "Sorry, we still have no clue what the problem is", than have them say nothing at all. At least it would show that they do care (or give the illusion at least). And that they are actually working on it. Silence could well mean that they've all gone home for the day
