Here's what I suggest for Live Season:- Custom Team Tactic and Team Management Adjustments: If these so-called scouts notice teams playing with a certain style, then allow them to adjust custom team tactics accordingly. If they notice starting lineups have changed, then allow them to adjust the default starting lineups accordingly. If they notice different kick takers on corners or free kicks, then allow them to change the kick takers. If team formations change, then allow them to be adjusted accordingly.
- Injuries: Accurately reflect real life injuries. If a player gets Eduardo'd, remove him from the roster. If a player gets his knee banged up, drop his form/attributes accordingly (speed? agility?) and have his knee bandaged. Dropping a player's form who gets Eduardo'd to Bad is not very realistic. His form isn't bad, his form is nonexistent.
- Appearances: While these scouts are watching these matches, could they take the time and take note of noticeable changes/innaccuracies in player appearances? If a player has a mullet one week and a shaved head the next, allow the scouts to change their appearance. If a player wears black boots for half the season and starts wearing orange boots, allow them to change it. If a player is injured and has his wrist taped, allow them to change it. I'm not asking for the scouts to look and see if a player plucks his eyebrows or not, but for obvious changes of appearance they should be allowed to update the players.
- Team Chemistry: Allow team chemistry to be adjusted accordingly. If Hull City goes on a tear the first month of the season, bump up their team chemistry a bit. Obviously, if this continues for 2 or 3 more weeks, up it goes a bit more. (I'm in no way predicting that this will actually happen IRL btw
.)
- Weather: If the weather has been lalalala in the north of Germany all week, when Berlin plays at home make the odds of a rainy game go up. Or, if it is a notoriously wet time of the season in a certain league, make rain games happen more frequently. During winter, Bundesliga teams playing at home should obviously have a greater percentage for snow. As well, the proper players should be wearing long sleeves, gloves, etc.
- Live Season Match Finder: Give subscribers the ability to limit online game searches to people who subscribe to and are using Live Season. Better yet, create a lobby system that only allows subscribers of Live Season (and are currently playing with Live Season teams) to enter. EPL Live Season Lobby, Bundesliga Live Season Lobby, Any Live Season Lobby, etc. I'm sure many people won't want to play against people not using Live Season if they are paying for the service.
EA, if you're going to make people pay for the "Live Season", then truly make it a LIVE Season and give us our money's worth.
If people don't like it, they don't have to pay for it, or they can turn the feature off as previously noted.
