Here is some more news about EA's great plan.....

  • adidas Live Season is a premium service that is only available for the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division.
  • It updates the database whenever EA's network of football scouts feel the need to change a player's attributes. As a player performs poorly in a real world match - for example, if a striker misses a host of chances in his last game - that player's stats will be reduced to match his current form.
  • The service will carry a subscription fee, but when you purchase the game you can choose one of the aforementioned leagues and receive Live Season updates for that league free of charge until the end of the 2008/2009 season, using a code printed on the back of the game manual.
  • To keep each additional league up-to-date with adidas Live Season will cost £4.99 (around €7/$7 USD), or you can choose to keep all leagues updated for £12.99 (around €20/$20 USD).
  • Injuries will not be included in adidas Live Season updates as such. Players who become injured will have their attributes dropped as if they were in very poor form, meaning that you can still select them in your starting eleven, but they will not be as skilful as when they are fit and healthy in the real world. (So basically they will go on the bench then).
  • Manager mode will not be affected by adidas Live Season updates.
