A demo would be nice. As for gamepad support, I'd choose keyboard+mouse over a controller anyday for this sort of game, but thats just my opinion. As far as I know that kind of thing is just up to the devs.
Customizing games so they become more accessible for a wider audience is part of a next gen game in my opinion. Also as much as i like Third Person Shooters way more than first person (gives more in depht experience during gameplay) i keep going on about devolopers should make it to be the players choice.

We are barely two months away now, seems to be a good time for a demo.

edit2,Can i view the cover for Dead Space for the PC version anywhere ? If it is labeled "Games For Windows" then it most defïnitely does support Xbox 360 Gamepad.
