my word!!! i really appologise if these issues have bin addressed in the 2nd and 3rd page.. but the discussion about 360 on the 1st page is absolutely a bismal! im sorry but alot of you people seem to no jack about the console.
the premium system IS the same as the arcade / core but with a hard drive...
EVERY model of the xbox now has an hdmi port.
the elite holds absolutely no advantage when it comes to red ring stuff.. the only differnce is what you get in the box when you buy it (eg bigger hd, a black spray job and a funky audio lead to hook it up to some surround systems) thats about it.
as for the ps3 v 360 argument... the ps3 IS a more powerful system but the xbx has superiour everything else... allbe it im not a fan of paying for the live system.. but im a tight *** hehe, + the idea of having live messenger built in is a massive advantage just for the fact as soon as you start it up... you have a load of friends already, and its really good for 1st impressions... i've had a playstation 3 for ages now... yea its nice to have 42' internet browser on my telly but everytime i try to do something, theres a new update - with my internet connection (only about 1mb) is quite annoying, cause it takes forever to download.
as for actual playability of them, 360 controlers are much comfortabler, my oppinion obv.. and i've bin a sony man since the ps1... so yea, i'd say im solidly converted to microsoft..
ps anyone who has there 360 standing up vertically needs a slap... the amount of scratched disks i've seen purely because of this is insane... seriously, one tiny knock while your playing when its vert will kill your disk.. lazer burn to the extreme, then bring it to my shop to fix?
hehe.. seriously.. just lie it down somewhere out of the way of the floor, or stomping things or butterflys.. the thing is way to delicate...
