i'm gonna miss hleb, personally. i think he's an amazing player. yeah he doesn;t shoot much, but he's the best controller of the ball and best passer arsenal had. the guy worked wonders to open up space and make it easier for the midfield to get into the action and move up the field.
btw...ac milan has stated their done with transfers, so unless barca up their bid adebayor will be at arsenal.
Walcott better get some starting time come this fall, he showed to me at the end of last season that he's ready to give his all and has matured enough as a player to really really help the team out. I'd love to see Walcott out wide right (though he doesn't really like it) with nasri covering where hleb was. Fabs obviously in the middle with denilson. i think the kid's ready for it....as i see it we're selling out older, established players....give the young guys a shot. Diaby, Song, Denilson all have the ability to be a solid partner for cesc. Unless we're adding to depth (not adding to our starting line-up) i don;t want to see much coming in midfield. We still need a CB, and i'm 95% sure sheyi is staying...so that leaves: RvP, Ade, Eduardo, Bendtnar, Vela at attack, which i feel fine with.
anyone think that Arsene might start playing RvP out wide? if we do bring in another striker, it might free up the RvP to go wide since we won't have to worry so much about him being up front with other options.
