Love this "sport", only been once but Iloved it. It's not too good on a wet day as it can be really muddy which isnt any good. Like for example there was an objective, nobody was covering a certain area to defend it, so I went over that way, though I was being really smart at the time , only to find myself being stuck in the mud...

So there I was in the mud, I though no one had spotted me, only then was my arm pelted by a paintball! it hurt. alot. I put my arms up, as you do when your hit, then a few seconds later a group of paintballs where flying my direction Which usually isn't allowed after the arms ave gone up...
They kept hitting me like several times around the body...I walked away in agony, it stung.

I then found out later that day it was actually my friends I was playing with. They both found it amusing that I was dancing around in pain out in this muddy field. I wasnt laughing at the time, but looking back, it was rather.

I think there are two types of paintball (the ones that hurt anyway)
You got the more traditional type, with just the ordinary painball gun, weird looking think that holds sprout sized painballs)

Then you got the Realistic paintball, which I think is just called "Airsoft" where modern day weapons are converted into (usually airsoft) replica's. These shoot out pea sized paintballs, and I would think they hurt more, although in this type you get to wear armour if you wish.

I would like to play the 2nd type someday as im into that sort of stuff, wouldnt mind tossing a few smoke grenades, take out a few guys and then cap an objective in a building somehwere once in a while although I think this would be more expensive to run, especailly the ones that take place in urban areas. :/
