As someone who builds websites that aren't just sims related, i can honestly say i don't care.
I'm not sticking up for EA, i agree the rule was put in place for the wrong reasons (outright banning all sites not related to ea games because of some rubbish sites showing up was silly, a lot of them were for ea games anyway). But, it's their forum and theres not much we can do about it. I think protesting against them allowing us to post our own sites (which may even be trying to make a profit themselves, which just makes it more fair) is a futile effort.
Would be nice to show off our website creations somewhere though.
