Default Errr..hello? The worst one since Fifa 97!!!

I regularly play Fifa08 on my PS3 but i'm sorry - it's the worst Fifa game since Fifa97 (and that was extremely poor!) - and i've had them ALL! This time that Pro Evo nonsense has won hands down! If you play the game in Pro mode all it does is make your players run and sprint at half the pace of the opponents! Trying to take a shot results in a Johnnie Wilkinson conversion or a light float straight into the goalkeepers hands with he gratefully recieves without even moving his feet. Another extremely infuriating thing about this..game... is the only button you can use without giving away a free kick makes your keeper come way out of his goal as if he's striker leaving the goal open for the opponents to chip or take a long shot which usually goes in! Funny how the opposing keeper NEVER comes off his line! And how come the ref hardly ever gives a foul against the opponents yet if you go anywhere near them when they're attacking it's a foul? I've got so mad about that that i've turned off bookings! BUT.....the most infuriating thing about this game is when you pass the ball to one of your players he stands there like a LEMON instead of coming towards the ball while the opposing player runs from BEHIND him to steal the ball!!! That is a real wind up. Now I bet someone's going to reply saying: 'you obviously don't know how to play the game' and i'd welcome advice. Educate me on what I missed on the manual! Perhaps someone can also tell me why every player looks like 'Incredaboy' from the Incredables? (I know you know what I mean) Fifa 2003 had the likeness of players down to a tee. Has Fifa sacrificed detail in favour of gameplay - in most cases I can understand this but where's the gameplay in Fifa08. I'm a big EA Sports Fifa fan but i'm afraid that Pro Evo (I don't even like mentioning it!) nonsense has won this year round! What say you guys?
