Don't know if it's been posted but:

ARSENE WENGER is eyeing Alexander Hleb’s replacement — Valencia’s David Silva.

Hleb is eager to get away from Arsenal with Barcelona the latest club to make a move for the unsettled Belarus star.

And boss Wenger has found the man to fill Hleb’s boots in £20million-rated Spaniard Silva.

Wenger was in Vienna on Sunday to watch Silva in Spain’s victory over Italy — a match decided by Gunner Cesc Fabregas in the penalty shootout.

Silva, 22, was again impressive, as he has been throughout Euro 2008, in Spain’s march to the semi-finals.

His versatility attracts Wenger because he can play right or left of midfield or off the front man.

An Arsenal source revealed: “Arsene wasn’t just in Vienna to cheer on Cesc — he was there to take a good look at Silva.

“He is a player who would fit well in the Arsenal set-up, especially if Hleb goes.”
