I'm not bothered with kids playing the sims, it's a fun game, it's like an interactive dolls house.

I am bothered with every suggestion being battered down because kids play the game. Kids play Grand Theft Auto, that doesn't mean that rockstar are going to tone it down in case it gets in their hands.
