But some games do release without any copy protection. Sins of a Solar Empire doesn't have any.
Actually I'd be more inclined to buy a game that doesn't have any copy protection. It tells me that the developer doesn't want to annoy paying customers with useless protection that doesn't even remotely curb piracy.
