Rafa Resigns
It has been revealed earlier today that manager
Rafa Benitez has resigned as manager of Liverpool FC.
Its believed he quit because of the on-going feud of
Co-Chairman's George Gillett and tom Hicks. Here's What Rafa
had to say in a press conference a couple of hours ago.
" i am very disappointed i had to leave Liverpool as i believe they can win it all. I just couldn't bare to work
under such harsh conditions with both Chairmans on my back
24/7. i felt it was best for both parties if i just left
them to get on with it and appoint who ever they want as
manager. I wish Liverpool FC all the best in the future. "
The Question which must be on every body's mind is
Who will be Liverpools Next Manager?
A few world class candidates are lined up for the job
such as :
Frank Rijkaad - he may leave barcelona to help liverpool
push for the premiership.
Jurgen Klinsman - he hasnt managed since he left the German
national side but there has been rumors of him taking over
Sam Allardyce - since newcastle sacked him, he is a free
agent and would jump at the chance to become liverpools
manager.
Jose Mourinho - he's the obvious choice. the Special One.
since he left chelsea he has had some time off and is
itching to get back into management.
but Gillet and Hicks arn't giving anything away who
might be lined up to replace Rafa.
