But I don't believe that he goes after world class players, but has to settle for promising players. He is Sir Alex, and he coaches at Manchester United, there could be no more incentive for signing there. I think that if SAF wanted them, and they wanted to play in England, then SAF would usually get them. But I could be wrong about that.
And I suppose he just might go after a world class striker this summer, since thats just about if for your squad.

i never said we cant attract world class players
of course we can...we are MAN UTD. iam just saying world class players usually arent available, at the end of the day who wants to sell a world class player? (apart from mid table teams and poor teams in europe who might want to make money out of a player)
thats why players like Messi and Kaka are impossible to get seeing as they are already at a top club
