I couldn't fathom buying this game if it isn't in the Tournament mode. I don't see how anyone could play with any other cam. It's so dynamic and immersive. Just because I watch football sideways doesn't mean that I want to play it sideways. It's funny. I watch the Champions League coverage and they were using some camera moves that reminded me of the Pro Cam. Oh well, Glad to hear that someone else loves 08 like I do. Hopefully 09 is an evolution of 08 that incorporates the good of UEFA while continuing to reach for the "sim" pinnacle.....

Hi, I just lost 2 games in a row with Man Utd - serves me right for resting Ronaldo and starting Gi sung park, acting cocky and trying to do tricks in defence for the sake of it because the opposition teams (blackburn/ Derby in cup) aren't that good, and trying to score wonder goals in the middle of the pitch rather that ensuring goals with my trusty right-wing crossing from Giggsy.
In utter disappointment I slammed the controller down, punched the bed and swore a few times. Then I realised - Thats what football management is all about (like it or lump it), and fifa 08 is the closest I will ever get to the real thing. Once I won 6-0 on the euro 08 demo and wasnt in the least bit bothered. Now I finally understand how real-life managers feel; but you know what - i wouldn't have it any other way.
Right, I'm got a potentially tricky priemier league class with villa to get on with. Now if only I can stop Ashley Young with his crossing.................
