I think this is going to be our way around having one family age while we're playing a different family. If this works the way I think it's going to, then it'll be rather interesting because we'll be able to see how one family progresses while we're not controlling them, as compared to what they do while we do have control. This has actually made me more excited

As long as we're not going to be restricted to only having one family to control (and I can't think we will be as what will happen when the kids move out of home? Would you have to choose which household to control?) I'm pretty sure you'd be able to play one household per save slot. At least I can't think of any way they could prevent us doing it that way
