Have you double checked your NAT settings?
My router sometimes goes weird and sets my NAT to strict and when this happens there is no way it will find a game online.
I also find it to be a bit random when it connects and when it wont.
Sometimes i find games really quickly and other times it takes forever.
Some advice though is:
Dont quit out of quickmatch... it does take a long time, so just be patient. If you look in your recent players list (xbox users) then you can see the quickmatch finding other people.
If the quickmatch fails, then it asks you if you want to host a match.... say yes, and then invite the top three people from your recent players list into the game.... these will be the same people that quickmatch failed to put you together with.
