Welcome to BF2 day "Zero". This was so two years ago. The only reason EA/Dice included a stats system was to provide a hook for the OCD people that continue to play this game thinking that their "stats" actually amount to anything. The thought behind that decision probably went something along the lines of, "If we get them addicted to stats, we can sell them expansion packs ad nauseum until we're ready to roll out BF3098345."

I guess I should note that my point is simply this: EA/Dice don't give a rat's patooty about this franchise anymore and we can all expect things to get much worse before they get any better.
