Alright, if you refuse to be realistic, I'll show you. Right now, United are top on goal difference, which is an advantage that they will have for the rest of the season. (It's an 8 goal difference between them and us) United also have a game in hand against Bolton at Old Trafford during the midweek which I fully expect them to cash in. That gives them a 3 point lead, but even on games. The rest of the season looks like this for us: (not including Champions League)
Arsenal's Schedule:
Chelsea (A)
Bolton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Manchester United (A)
Reading (H)
Derby (A)
Everton (H)
Sunderland (A)
United's schedule:
Bolton (H)
Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Arsenal (H)
Blackburn (A)
Chelsea (A)
West Ham (H)
Wigan (A)
So each of us have to play all of the Big 4, and we have one head-to-head match up left, but it's at Old Trafford. Frankly, I don't expect any points there. Our form has been horrendous, United's pretty good. I just don't see how we can pull this out again. We are going to have to beat the rest of the Big 4 and hope that Chelsea or Liverpool can get results against United. Basically, we have to get 3 points from all non-Big 4 teams and then win at least 2 out of the 3 match-ups against the Big 4. It doesn't look good for the Arsenal.
