Been a Liverpool fan for about 30 years now. Im Irish and lotsa people back home either support ManU or Pool. I think thats mostly because thats who you'd see on the box saturday morning in the late 70's early 80's. Its hard to support a team you never see play.

I grew up a massive Dalglish fan too and at the age of 6 or 7 had my first liverpool kit and put a #7 on it myself. Jersey, shorts, socks and all. Also Ronnie Whelan played at Home Farm, a local team here i played for as a kid for a year (played Rugby more and was way better at it) so he brought of lot of Irish fans with him when Liverpool signed him. Not to mention all the other Irish players, Staunton, Houghton and many more.

The rest of my family are Arsenal fans, mainly because my grand uncle Benny played for them and weve got his annuals at the house. He did a stint with Celtic and ManU too. But im the most passionate football supporter in the household by far and ill never waiver.
