I cheer for the player, if carlos is doing great, then i'm happy for him .... but I won't be switching teams to follow a player.
It's just that when I first started following european football, roberto carlos was with real madrid so real became my favourite team and it got better and better as more brazilians joined the club, but even if they all leave, and the club becomes let's say 100% italians & germans (not a big italy/germany fan
), then i'll still support Real.
