I should support my local team the Pittsburgh Riverhounds but because of the stupid American system I do not. Since we do not have promotion they will never get out of the USL 2 which is stupid. To me this in itself makes it pointless to follow the team. Maybe if they ever make a run in the Open Cup I might go to a game but that is it.
The team I actually follow is Reading FC. I support them because they are new in the premiership and have never been in the top division before last season in their over 100 years of existance. After seeing them dominate the Championship two years ago I looked in to them and became interested. Then I saw their kit was really nice looking and that they have an American in Bobby Convey and that sealed the deal.
