Terms and Conditions
The 12 days of Christmas

1. General

The opening time of the competition is Thursday 13th December 2007 at 15:30 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is 5th January 2008 at 22.00 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

2. Restrictions

This Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged thirteen ( 13 ) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) are not eligible to enter.

3. Rules to participate

No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this Prize Draw.

For a chance to win, entrants must:

4. Prizes

Twelve (12) winners will be chosen at random by the EAUK Admin team from all valid entries to each win one of the following prizes: A PS3 with 2 games, a Nintendo DS with 2 games or game bundle on the PC, 360 or PS3. The choice of format for the game bundle is chosen by the winner.

Winners must reply by Private Message (PM) to claim their prize within 14 days of notification otherwise the claim becomes void and a new winner selected.
Odds of winning the prize depend upon the number of eligible entries.

There are no cash alternatives to this prize. It is as stated and is non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Electronic Arts (EA), EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the Promoter.

5. Results

The twelve (12) winners will be notified by Private Message (PM) when their name is drawn.

If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select an alternative winner from among the entrants.

A full list of who won will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of winners. This list can be obtained by writing to UK CRM Team, 12 days of Christmas competiton, Electronic Arts, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, KT16 0EU.

Any entry, which is damaged, corrupted, defaced, late, incomplete or otherwise does not comply with these rules, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery. EA cannot be held responsible for lost entries.

If proof of age is requested, the prize shall not be dispatched unless proof of age is received and if satisfactory proof of age is not received, EA reserves the right to choose another winner.

Entrants agree that they may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.

6. Data protection

In order to participate in the Prize Draw, participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring this Prize Draw, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information.
By entering this Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material, which may be amended or varied at any time by EA.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of EA shall be final and legally binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
