I got COD4 for the PC. I like it a lot. I already beat the game once. I skipped the easiest setting and went to the second one. I am going to try it on the next harder setting.
I might get it for the PS3.
The only thing I am disappointed in is the multi-player. It is not open enough and the maps are not big enough. The games run through to fast. I like the BF series games better when it comes to multi-player. It may grow on me though. Their are a lot of Rocket spam'ers already. I have yet to find a nice open map that I can Sniper from with good success. I will have to run a few server maps my self and check them all out to get an idea on them from a sniper point of view. Jumping straight into it was a bit overwhelming without knowing the maps. All in all it is a really good game. It has to be one of the best I have played. I still prefer BF2 and BF2142 over it when it come to the multi-player.
I do not have the 360. I can't see a reason for getting it. It just cant beat the PS3. Their was no HD player when I thought about getting it. Their is now; but I like Blue-ray better. Plus the PS3 Cell Processor is awesome. The Halo games are not enough to justify me buying it. I do not like the Halo multi-player game style. Their single player is good. The main reason I will not get the 360 is the XBOX Live. I can't see a reason for paying to play on-line. I fell sorry for those players of the COD4 game that have it for the 360. They are the only ones that have to pay to play on-line. If I was to buy it; it would be for my nephew.
