Description

No need to mourn the passing of your loved ones. Not only is this telephone a stylish accessory to any stylish realm, but it also provides a direct line to the Grim Reaper. For nary the price of your soul, Mr Reaper will gladly bring anyone back from the beyond. But beware: if you don't offer a competitive bid for this service, your resurrected loved one may be...incomplete.

Additional Notes

The paranormal career is only available to university graduates, so your sim would need to go to college to achieve the Resurrect-O-Nomitron. Once you call the grim reaper, you will be presented with a window showing all the dead sims your sim knows, and whose urn or headstone still exists in the neighbourhood. If you are calling from a college town, you will only be presented with dead sims whose urn or headstone exists in that college town. The same is true if you call in the normal base neighbourhood.

If your household already has 8 members, then you will not get the interaction to raise the dead as your household cannot normally hold more than eight members. How your dead sims are returned depends entirely on how much you (or your sims) are prepared to pay the reaper.

Payment To The Grim Reaper

$1-$987: Resurrection fails and the money paid s forfeit.
$988-$4,127: Sim returns in their previous age group but as a zombie. All their needs are badly depleted and they're extremely angry at the sim who resurrected them, causing a reduction in their daily relationship of -20 points and a lifetime reduction of -15 points. They lose most of their skills and get the zombie personality.
$4,128-$8,512: Sim returns but with all skills reduced by three levels and all personality factors reversed. The sim is happy though to be back, causing an increase in their daily relationship of +10 points with the sim who resurrected them. They also have an increase in their lifetime relationship of +5 points.
$8,513-$10,1000: The sims returns the same as they were at the time of death. The sim will be ecstatic to be resurrected and will receive an increase in daily relationship of +35 points with the sim who resurrected them. They will also receive an increase in their lifetime relationship of +25 points.

If the resurrected sim was a child, they only come back perfectly or not at all. You can see from the above that it would be a waste of simoleons to pay more than $8,513 as you won't get any more benefit if you do.
