It uses ultraviolet radiation to quickly and easily dust for prints everywhere, then displays the iron clad evidence on the viewscreen.

With the scan for prints interaction, your sim chooses a random object on any floor of your lot and begins to scan. If the scan is successful, your sim should display a picture of the last sim to use that object; this will depend though on your sim's current skill level. If no sim has used the selected object, a random neighbour will be identified instead. The scanner fills your sims fun at level four and can fill it up to a max of 70 fun points.
