the best/ easiest way to become one is to use the boolProp cheat. it works the best. just get into the cheat box by pressing Control + Shift + C, then type in the box boolProp TestingCheats Enabled True...hold down the shift key and click on the mailbox...a whole bunch of options will appear..click make NPC...then click on more...and then you should see Leader of the Pact as one of the options. if you click that..the wolf with the glowing eyes will appear on your lot..befriend it for a little while and it will "nibble" you. Then at 8 p.m. you will turn into a werewolf.

i've tried tons of things to become a werewolf the normal way..but this way was the best and quickest.
be careful. using boolProp can ruin your game.
