Fergusen's Team Couldn't Make it to the League Cup Finals

Sir Alex Fergusen who couldn't give his Key players chance because the Fatigue problems failed to reach the League Cup Final. While Benitez not gambling his key players for a rest.

Manchester Started with Vidic for Nevile, Eagles for C.Ronaldo, Larsson for Rooney.
Liverpool started with only one change Alonso for Riise.

Benitez said in a pre match interview " Although all we need is 0-0 which can make us through but i hope we win this game in our home."

The 0-0 at the end of the first half was not as it looked like. Both teams came so close as Larsson missed it in the first 15 mins. which was replied by a miss target of Garcia 10 mins later. The game was more like a deadlock as both teams were struggling but coming up short to score.
After the first half the game still went on the same way.
At 67th mins It was Kaka' who openned the scoreboard with a 30 meters long range shoot to lead Liverpool. Later On Gerrard made it 2-0 with beautiful magical shoot at 74th mins.
Eagles Out, C.Ronaldo In at the break.
Liverpool Defence were denying Man Utd's attacks one after another as C.Ronaldo's Cross came up to Fletcher to score the first one for Man Utd at 84th mins.
There was no time for Manchester Utd to Comeback any more while they needed to score two more to qualify.
