It does work for 08..the only difference was that I had to edit the devdata.dat file in Fifa08/GAME/Data/Input and
NOT
in Fifa08/Data/Input.

Both of them are there. I tried the one posted here and it did not work. So I tried the other one and it worked fine. I also deleted both XPadLib.dll files.

I had to reassign the shoot, and through pass buttons, and also two menu buttons, but now everything works great.
