Ruud On Course For Milan Return

Ruud van Nistelrooy remains on target to play against AC Milan in next month after the striker made a significant step in training last week.

The 28-year-old Dutch striker has been training in Holland to overcome an Achilles injury that has sidelined him since November.

Ferguson has been in contact with van Nistelrooy, and said of the striker: "He's doing very well. I spoke to him and he's coming along great.

"He's started running now. We will hopefully have him for the AC Milan game."
