Hmm, having taken a look at the Battlefield website I now see that it states it is BETA. I must have clicked too fast, although I swear it didn't say anything about being BETA when I originally downloaded it. Since I had only just installed Battlefield 2142 (I regularly have to start from scratch as I manage to ruin my system regularly) I simply reinstalled it. |
I agree that it did say BETA when i downloaded this patch too. BUT it would be great if EA could develop a USER friendly way of explaining and or installing a patch for both 1.25 or 1.40(and any other updates). Even if it was a new program that allows you to switch between the 2 versions ? Not everyone that plays online has the knowledge to be able to install 2 versions. If anything a new patch to allow users to switch between patches ?
