Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco's agent claims his client will undergo a medical at Arsenal on Friday.

The Itaian wonderkid has been linked with a move to the Emirates since January this year. Juventus are rumoured to have accepted a bid in the region of £8 million for the talented attacking midfielder

And while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has yet to comment on the speculation, the player's agent recently suggested a three-year deal has been offered to his client.

Giovinco's told Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport: "This Friday I will fly to London where I will have a medical.

"After that I hope to put pen to paper. Arsenal is a fantastic club and have the ability to do well in every competition that they feature in.

"Arsene Wenger stands for nice, attacking football and dares to work with young talents. That appeals to me enormously.

"A lot will change in my life. Next season I will come up against some of the best players in the world. I am not scared by that, I will give all my body can give. Arsenal are known for giving their youngsters a chance and this is a main reason that I would love to play for Arsenal

''It should be underlined that I love Juventus and I am very greatful for them to take me on as a youngster and that now they are giving me the chance to leave the club and allow me to grow as a player and as a person. I will always love Juventus.
