There's a difference between tackling and diving though. One can love a player for the "kick 'em, kill 'em" attitude, but I doubt anyone loves "Dive down, look hurt" attitude. Which is one of the reason I didn't like Ronaldo, but love the likes of Keano and Rooney!
EDIT: I should mention that Keano was bit over the top, but it's a mans game.
