But who would lead it? And why? Faith? She'd be gunned down, methinks. Why would the people listen at the mo? It seems as if normal people do not care that their lives are so controlled. I know that there is a lot of reason to protest against their government, but who would stand up? Who would willingly risk their lives? Faith was 6 when the riots happened, so if it is still at the forefront of her mind, wouldn't it be for people older than her too? I understand your point, but i like to iron out details

Cool! But i wouldn't change Truth and Lies. In my experience, (if you want to give me some examples of stories that don't follow this rule, i'd be interested to know), in my experience, there is usually some kind of deception at the beggining of the story, whether it's one book, or the first of a series, eg:
Harry potter/Pawn of prophecy - the true identity is not known of the main character, Harry/Garion = wizard/king

Northen lights - her uncle is her father, say no more!

Song Quest - Rielle's mission is disguised as something else for half the book

Lirael - Lireal does not know that she is not a Daughter Of the Clayre until the LAST CHAPTER! (that annoys me... a lot)

As you see, the deception usually revolves around a character, but not always. Labrynth could be an example, but i havn't read all of it, so i don't know exactly what happens. I wonder if this could be applied to ME-2-3 at some point or another?

I can't see her not being there at all. Why would they want to kill her off? I know, that in stories (yeah, i write them) a character is killed of for several reasons:
1 - the character's death is nessecary for the growth of another (eg, 'Harpy's filght' and 'the sapphire crescent')
2 - the character would get in the way too much in forthcomming events or would act if they were alive ('HP and the deathly hallows', Dumbledore)
Or 3 - the death instills tradgedy to make reader/player feel emotion, such as Merc's death.

I can see them making Faith fit 3. Thechnically, she has no use afer she has liberated the city, but i hope they just leave the ending open for us to imagine what happens, or even better, a happy ending. Don't kill her off!

He then get's an IQ 50% higher than the average human, and get's shunned by his friends more than before. In the end the rat dies after his intelligence declines and he starves to death. Realising his intelligence is temporary he resolves to leave town. After he leaves he tells someone to put flowers on Algernon's grave. The story is made in the form of Charlie's diary.

You can see the similarities.
Yes, it sounds like a good book to, and the rat is a symbol for the runners. If that is a reference to the book, what are they trying to say? That the runners are doomed? Thats not very optimistic. to them for not being optimistic! How Charlie asks for flowers to be put on Algernon's grave...that's sad. He knows that he is going to die, and that rat's grave is like his own.
